The Normal Tuesday Test

The single most useful piece of a cāive session, stripped down so you can run it on yourself.

Here's the problem with imagining your future: you always imagine the highlight reel. The first day at the new job. The moment you tell them it's over. The plane landing somewhere new. Nobody lives in those moments — they last an afternoon.

You live in ordinary Tuesdays. So we go there instead. Two years out, for each option, on a day where nothing in particular is happening. Fantasies can't survive that. Most people know their answer by question six and spend a while not liking it.

Nothing you type leaves your browser. There's no account, and I don't see any of it.

Setup

A few words. "Stay at the job." "Move to Berlin."

The other one you keep coming back to.

Option A

Be specific. The room, the light, the sound outside.

Done

Two Tuesdays.

Read them both back, slowly. Then answer the only question that matters: which one felt more real — not better, more real?

Watch for three things. Which one you wrote in more detail (you've already been living there in your head). Which one you described in terms of how it looks to other people. And which one you rushed.

If it didn't settle it

That happens, and it usually means one of two things: you're protecting something by not deciding, or the decision you think you're making isn't the real one underneath. Both are findable, but not usually alone — that's the part where you need someone asking the next question.

90 minutes, $129, and you leave decided or you don't pay.
